At Anymelo, we want you to be completely satisfied with our AI music generation platform. We understand that sometimes a service might not meet your expectations, which is why we've created this clear and fair refund policy.

We stand behind the quality of our AI music generation services. If you're not satisfied with Anymelo within your first week of use, we're here to help make things right.

When you can request a refund

To qualify for a refund, you need to meet these two simple requirements:

1. Time window: Submit your refund request within 7 days of your original purchase date

2. Usage limit: You must have generated 5 songs or fewer using our AI music generator

Both conditions must be met for your refund request to be eligible. This policy allows you to genuinely try our platform and evaluate whether it meets your creative needs, while protecting against misuse.

How to request your refund

Getting a refund is straightforward. Just follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to our support team at support@anymelo.ai
  2. Include your account email so we can quickly locate your account
  3. Tell us why - briefly explain what didn't work for you (this helps us improve!)
  4. Wait for confirmation - we'll respond within 3 business days

What happens next

Here's our refund process timeline:

  • Within 3 business days: We'll review your request and check eligibility
  • Email notification: You'll receive confirmation of approval or additional questions
  • 7-14 business days: Approved refunds are credited back to your original payment method (credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.)
  • Account adjustment: Any songs generated will be removed from your account, and access to premium features will end

We process refunds through the same payment method you originally used. If you paid with a card, digital wallet, or other Stripe-supported method, the refund is returned to that funding source.

What's not covered by refunds

To keep our policy fair for everyone, the following situations are not eligible for refunds:

  • High usage: Accounts that have generated more than 5 songs
  • Late requests: Refund requests submitted after the 7-day window has closed
  • Downloaded content: Music that you've already downloaded and used in your projects
  • Commercial use: Generated music that's been published or used commercially
  • Free credits: The initial 10 free credits provided at signup are promotional and non-refundable

Subscription cancellations

It's important to understand the difference between canceling your subscription and getting a refund:

Canceling your subscription:

  • Stops future automatic billing
  • Does NOT automatically qualify you for a refund
  • You keep access until the end of your current billing period
  • Your generated music and account history remain intact
  • You can resubscribe anytime

Requesting a refund:

  • Returns your payment for the current period
  • Requires meeting the eligibility criteria (7 days + 5 songs or less)
  • Ends your access immediately upon approval
  • Removes generated songs from your account

You can cancel your subscription anytime from your account settings. If you want a refund for your most recent charge, you'll need to follow the refund request process above.

Special circumstances

We understand that every situation is unique. In exceptional cases, we may consider refund requests that fall outside our standard policy guidelines. These might include:

  • Technical issues that prevented you from using the service
  • Billing errors or duplicate charges
  • Medical emergencies or hardship situations
  • Service outages that significantly impacted your experience

These requests are evaluated individually at our discretion. We appreciate your honesty and will do our best to find a fair solution.

Chargebacks and payment disputes

Please contact us first! If you're unhappy with a charge, please reach out to our support team before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank.

Here's why:

  • Faster resolution: We can often resolve issues immediately, while chargebacks take weeks
  • Account protection: Chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension
  • Better communication: We can explain charges and often find a solution that works better than a chargeback
  • Relationship preservation: We want to maintain a positive relationship with our users

If you do initiate a chargeback without contacting us, your Anymelo account will be automatically suspended pending resolution of the dispute.

Credit alternatives

Instead of a refund, we may offer account credits as an alternative solution in certain situations. Credits can be used for:

  • Generating more music
  • Using premium features like Vocal Remover and Stem Splitter
  • Extending your subscription

This option works well if you want to give Anymelo another try or experienced temporary technical issues. Purchased credits never expire, while promotional or bonus credits may follow the expiration rules noted in our Terms of Service.

Policy updates

We may update this refund policy from time to time to improve clarity or adjust to new features. When we make changes:

  • The new policy will be posted on this page
  • The "Last updated" date at the top will be changed
  • Significant changes will be announced via email to active subscribers
  • The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase
