Thank you for choosing Anymelo! These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain the rules for using anymelo.ai and our AI music generation and audio processing services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account or using any of our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
1. Who can use Anymelo
- Age requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use Anymelo.
- Account security: You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and secure. All activity that happens under your account is your responsibility.
- Accurate information: Please provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it current. This helps us serve you better and keep your account secure.
2. Credits, subscriptions, and payments
- Free credits: All new users receive 10 free credits when they sign up, so you can try out our platform and experience the quality of AI-generated music.
- Paid features: To continue using Anymelo after your free credits, you'll need to purchase credits or subscribe to a plan. Current prices are shown on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time with advance notice.
- Payment processing: All payments are securely processed through Stripe, our trusted payment provider. When you subscribe to a recurring plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically at the start of each billing cycle.
- Credit usage: Different features consume different amounts of credits (for example, generating music, vocal removal, stem splitting, etc.). Credits are tied to your account and can't be transferred to other users.
- Refunds: Please review our refund policy on the pricing page. Promotional or bonus credits may have expiration dates.
- Special pricing: Annual Pro subscribers receive special discounted pricing for certain features like Vocal Remover and Stem Splitter tools.
3. How you can (and can't) use Anymelo
To keep Anymelo safe and enjoyable for everyone, you agree NOT to:
- Illegal or harmful content: Upload audio files, text prompts, or other content that violates laws, infringes on others' intellectual property rights, or contains harmful, abusive, hateful, or adult material.
- Copyright infringement: Use copyrighted music, vocals, or audio without proper permission or license. You must have the rights to any audio files you upload.
- Misleading content: Create music or audio designed to deceive, impersonate others, spread misinformation, or cause harm.
- System abuse: Attempt to reverse engineer our technology, interfere with our servers, use automated bots to abuse our services, or circumvent our security measures or credit system.
- Spam or commercial abuse: Mass-generate content for spamming purposes or resell our services without authorization.
Consequences: If you violate these rules, we may suspend or permanently terminate your account and forfeit any remaining credits without refund.
4. Your uploaded content and prompts
- You own your content: You retain all ownership rights to the audio files, text prompts, lyrics, and other content you upload or provide to Anymelo.
- License to process: By uploading content, you grant Anymelo a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, analyze, and use your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Services (like training our AI models to better serve you).
- Your responsibility: You're responsible for ensuring you have the legal rights to any third-party content you upload. If you upload someone else's audio or use copyrighted material, make sure you have permission.
- Content storage: We may store your uploaded audio files and generated music for a reasonable period to allow you to access and download them. We may delete old files to manage storage.
5. AI-generated music and output
- Ownership of generated music: Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you own the music and audio content generated by Anymelo and may use it for personal or commercial purposes, including in videos, podcasts, games, and other creative projects.
- Royalty-free music: Music generated by Anymelo is royalty-free for your use, meaning you don't need to pay additional licensing fees to use it in your projects.
- No uniqueness guarantee: While our AI creates unique compositions, we cannot guarantee that your generated music will be completely unique or that it won't be similar to other music (AI-generated or otherwise). You're responsible for reviewing your generated music before commercial use.
- No copyright guarantee: We don't guarantee that AI-generated music is free from all intellectual property restrictions. While we work hard to ensure originality, you should exercise reasonable judgment when using generated content commercially.
- Attribution: You're not required to credit Anymelo when using generated music, but we always appreciate it!
6. Privacy and your data
Our Privacy Policy explains in detail how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using Anymelo, you agree to the practices described in our Privacy Policy. We take your privacy seriously and use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
7. Service updates and availability
- Feature changes: We're constantly improving Anymelo. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. When possible, we'll give you advance notice of major changes, especially those that affect paid features.
- Service availability: While we strive for 99.9% uptime, Anymelo may occasionally experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or unexpected technical issues. We're not liable for temporary unavailability or any resulting data loss.
- Beta features: Some features may be labeled as "beta" or "experimental." These features are provided as-is and may change or be discontinued without notice.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Important legal stuff in plain English: Anymelo is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no guarantees or warranties about:
- The Services being error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly secure
- The quality, accuracy, or suitability of AI-generated music for your specific purpose
- AI-generated music being completely unique or free from copyright issues
- The Services meeting all your specific requirements
We work hard to provide excellent service, but we can't make absolute guarantees. You use Anymelo at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
More legal protection (still in plain English): To the fullest extent allowed by law:
- No indirect damages: Anymelo and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes things like lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or reputational harm.
- Maximum liability: Our total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the amount you actually paid to Anymelo in the 12 months before the claim arose. If you're on the free plan, this would be zero.
- General principle: We're not responsible for issues beyond our reasonable control, including how you use (or misuse) the AI-generated music.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so these may not fully apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You've got our back, we've got yours: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Anymelo and its team from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the Services
- Content you upload or music you generate
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including copyright infringement
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable local laws. If there's a disagreement:
- Try to talk it out: We encourage resolving disputes through friendly, good-faith communication first. Reach out to us at support@anymelo.ai.
- Formal resolution: If informal resolution doesn't work, any legal disputes will be handled according to the jurisdiction where the service is provided.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect new features, legal requirements, or business practices. Here's what happens:
- Notice: If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email (to your registered email address) or through a prominent notice in the Services at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
- Review period: This gives you time to review the changes and decide whether to continue using Anymelo.
- Acceptance: By continuing to use the Services after the new Terms take effect, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.
- Disagreement: If you don't agree with the new Terms, you should stop using the Services before they take effect.
13. General provisions
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, represent the complete agreement between you and Anymelo.
- Severability: If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.
- No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision doesn't mean we're waiving that right.
- Assignment: You can't transfer your rights under these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer our rights to a successor or affiliate.
